Scott McLean

STV kindly identified the player on Scotland Today last night when they said Partick Thistle's attempts to sign a new striker depended on Scott McLean coming to Love Street. However, according to The Official Site the deal is dead. Reading the forum it appears that the problem is at Thistle's end, possibly because they are trying to ensure the arrival of a new striker before letting McLean go. It is also revealed that McLean is one of two strikers we are after.

There are also rumours of 3 players leaving today, with 2 coming in, one of whom is probably McLean. Should be an interesting time until the transfer window closes tomorrow!
