Shirt Amnesty 2004

Shirt Amnesty 2004 is part of the BBC's Sport Relief. The idea is that football fans send them all their old football shirts, providing they are washed and are in a decent condition. They then take them out to Africa and distribute them to folk who have more important things to buy with what little money they have, such as food, water etc.

I was planning to clear out some of my mountain of shirts this summer and was probably going to give them to my local Oxfam shop. However, I've decided they can go to this instead. I cleared out 14, which is about a third of the number I have. It's got rid of my old shirts, given me some space and made me feel good about myself.
