Shuggy - who is out until September with a knee injury - is out of contract in a few weeks and had been linked with a move to Dunfermline in January. It was thought the Pars may try to lure him to Fife again during the summer, but he has now said he'll stay at Greenhill Road. All that is left to be done is for him to sign the relevant paperwork.
Murray has been at the club 14 years and earlier this month broke Tony Fitzpatrick's club appearance record against Hamilton. Ironically, it was in that game he picked up a knee injury after just a few minutes and he had to be stretchered off!
Once he's back fit, Shuggy should be an asset and it's great that he's set to sign on for another year.
