Smudger Called Up Again

Aside from Tuesday night's disaster, Smith has been in decent form for the team in recent weeks. He did miss a few games due an illness he picked up the last time he was with the under 21 squad, but has recovered from it well. Let's just hope none of the under 21 scouts were there when we played St. Johnstone!

The other keepers in the squad are Dundee United's Euan McLean and Hearts' Jamie MacDonald. McLean isn't first choice at Tannadice while MacDonald is on loan at Queen of the South, but both strangely seem to be ahead of Smith in the pecking order.

Meanwhile two members of Saints' under 15 side - Chris Ketterer and Conor Ramsay - have been called up to the Scotland under 15 squad for their upcoming friendlies against Belgium.
