SOme SFL spokesman said "No decision has yet been made, and the idea has still to be discussed by the management committee.
"Some First Division clubs have suggested that they would like to bring in squad numbers in time for next season.
"If it goes ahead as a proposal, then the matter would go to our AGM, and the clubs would then get the chance to vote."
Personally I think squad names and numbers would be a great idea, and would increase revenue as more fans would be likely to get names and numbers on their shirt.
