Crilly has wasted no time in trying to find a new club as he is apparently on trial at English Conference side Carlisle United. He signed for Saints from Stirling in 2003 and had been linked with a return there before.
A stumbling block to both signings could be money, as Moore feels that Carlisle will be able to offer Crilly more money than Stirling can if they want him, and Gillies will want to stay full time.
Meanwhile there are rumours that Saints will once again face Stirling at Forthbank in a pre season friendly.
