Stranraer Sign Gillies

There were rumours suggesting Ricky was training with the Saints squad, while there was alleged interest from East Fife and Stenhousemuir. However, he's  signed for Gerry Britton's side after a trial spell and will be looking to help them to an immediate return to the second division.

It's perhaps surprising that someone of Ricky's quality is playing at such a low level, but hopefully he won't be there for too long - either by helping them up or winning a move.
