The striker's career has taken him to Sheffield United and Coventry City before he rolled up at Tannadice a few weeks ago. After failing to win a deal there, Suffo - who has been capped 29 times for his country and played in the 2002 World Cup - came to Saints in an attempt to win a deal.
He played in a bounce game, along with fellow trialist Julius Raliukonis, against Stirling Albion this week, but didn't do enough to win a contract.
A decision on Lithuanian Raliukonis is expected in the next few days.
