Tesco Want Love Street?

Tesco had apparently been set to build a store on the site where Reid Kerr College now is, so whether they would be allowed another shop in Paisley is another matter. Also, Morrison's should be buying Safeway soon and they may also feel there is no need for another store in Paisley.

Should the pair both express a serious interest in Love Street, this could see a bidding war starting and Saints could end up with more money than they should have :-)

Saints desperately need to seel Love Street to clear the £1.7million debt, with chairman Stewart Gilmour recently revealing that the club has just two years to live if the move does not go through.
