The Latest News: Mirren Mad will strive to bring our readers the latest news concerning Saints, any major first divison stuff and anything regarding ex players. It will probably all be nicked from places, such as The Official Website, but the source will usually be quoted and a link to their website given so people can go their for the full story. I would like to stress that The Official Website is worth visiting as it has a lot of unnickable stuff, such as the previews and the audi interviews :-)
Match Previews: These will be available on the Friday afternoon before each game, unless its a midweek game in which case it will be put up during the afternoon of the day of the game. These will be indepth, bring the latest injury news and suggest players who are worthy of a slagging, and also any ex Saints they have.
Match Reports: These will be available by the end of the Sunday after the game, unless its a midweek in which case it will be whenever I can be bothered. These will provide indepth views of the game, who got booed, who acted like a ned and lost the plot, who got injured, who was good, who was bad and what the goals (or goal in Saints case) were like and any other pieces of info. If it was an away game that I wasn't at I'll put up a brief summary by the end of Saturday and might add some stuff after Scotsport on the Sunday.
Features: If there is a burning issue then Mirren Mad will probably have a feature on it. Whether it's Saints breaking the record for wins in a row or Stewart Gilmour selling a player a week, Mirren Mad will cover it in depth.
Prediction Game: The prediction game will be running throughout the season, and can be accessed by clicking Beat The Manager on the side bar in the games section. Pretty easy to register, there may even be a prize for the winner at the end of the season (which will hopefully be me to save shelling out!). Also, click Beat The Ref for a fun football quiz, with no Saints releated questions. Well, I've not found any yet.
Fans interactivity: There will be polls running throughout the season on the latest burning issues, such as the Perth Scum's shocking prices. The news stories with these will also contain results of the last poll, but these can be accessed any time by clicking the Voting Polls link in the interactive section. There will also be discussion on the message board, and slagging off of opposition fans if they come on after Saints cling on to another 1-0 victory. Click the Messageboard link in the Interactive section to get to it.
Interviews and Exclusives: Mirren Mad will not be bringing any interviews or exclusives unless I somehow get a tip off or meet Tom Hendrie somewhere :-)
Thats about it, though theres probably other stuff. There may even be chat sessions! It is worth noting that I don't know which university I'm going to yet, so it could depend whether I'm living in Edinburgh or at home. Either way the site will still be updated so please tell people about it, get voting, predicting and posting!
Now, as you may have seen, a new poll has been put up about St. Johnstone charging £17 for away fans. By comparison, it costs £16 at Love Street to get in via the Parent & Child gate! Choose your option and vote on this disgrace (guess which way i voted!) now.
