Thommo stays put

Last updated : 31 May 2011 By Stuart Gillespie

The former Brighton, Falkirk, Crystal Palace and Peterbrough man indicated last week that he was likely to sign a new deal and he has now done so. It's only a 12 month contract, but as the midfielder is now 33 that's probably a sensible move. It's also possible he took a wage cut to stay as his previous contract was signed before Setanta collapsed.

With Thomson signed, we're now just waiting on Paul Gallacher, Lee Mair, Michael Higdon and Jure Travner deciding what they're doing with themselves next season.
