Saints were linked with moves for Flood and O'Donnell - not to be confused with the midfielder we just released - towards the end of last week and assistant manager Iain Jenkins confirmed there was some interest in the pair. Despite the fact they are both contracted to Galway United, they are coming on trial and would be available for free as the Irish club have financial problems. Flood is a striker while O'Donnell, who has played for Falkirk, is a midfielder. There are suggestions O'Donnell is also wanted by Dundee, although this could be someone getting confused as they currently have the other Stephen O'Donnell on trial.
Lynch is another former Bairn and has also played for Hibs. The 23-year-old was let go by Falkirk in the summer, having played just nine times for them. The midfielder made just five appearances for Hibs and is hardly likely to get the pulses racing, although I suppose that's why he'll be coming in on trial first.
The fact Gkionis was coming on trial became public yesterday. The midfielder has spent the last few years in Belgium and is looking to win a move to Scotland.
