The Slovenian arrived in paisley in the summer on a season long loan deal. In January, that was converted to a permanent deal - although again, only until the summer. Now, Travner says he'd like to extend his stay in Paisley.
He said: "St Mirren have been great with me and I really feel that I have settled at the club and am loving playing week-in week-out.“Obviously my contract is up at the end of the season but I am hoping I can do enough to earn another one."
Of course, any deal for Travner depends on us staying in the SPL as it's unlikely he'd want to drop down to the first division and we probably wouldn't be able to afford him if we got relegated.
