Saints boss Gus MacPherson said today that both will play some part in tonight's closed door match against Queen's Park and Saturday's friendly against Stenhousemuir. A decision will then be made on what to do with the pair.
In Tuesday's match One played the first half and Hay the second. Former Partick Thistle striker One started well before fading fast and looking like a tall version of Jose Quitongo without the dreadlocks. Former St. Johnstone man Hay played the second half, by which time the decent players were off, so didn't get much of a chance.
I wouldn't have expected MacPherson to sign a player based on a good forty five minutes and I wouldn't expect him to reject one on a bad forty five minutes so it's only fair the pair get another shot at a contract.
As tonight's friendly is a closed door match there will be no preview.
