TT captained Saints to the first division title in 2000, and scored a vital last minute winner against Raith along the way. He played most of the games in the SPL but looked a bit out of depth. However, the following season he was the clubs under 21 coach and only played a few times for the first team. it has to be said that when he wasn't playing the defence looked surprisingly fragile.
He played his last game for Saints against Falkirk in April 2002, and left the pitch after receiving a standing ovation. Not bad for a former Morton player! He played with Gretna the following season, before going to Johnstone last year.
At 40 he's decided it's time to start on coaching and Mirren Mad wishes him all the best.
