Two Leave, One On Trial?

Both Maxwell and Brittain are out of contract in the summer and there have been rumours in recent days that both are on their way. Maxwell could well end up at Hamilton Accies, who are supposedly keen to offer him a player/coach role, while Brittain will probably drop down to the first division.

Rocastle has been with a number of clubs since leaving Chelsea a few years ago and always seems unable to settle or to fall out of favour. He did well in a loan spell at Hibs a few years ago - who are also rumoured to be about to offer him a trial spell - but his career has gone downhill since then. He has recently become available after being released by Port Vale, who were relegated from League One this season.
