The news about Kean and Reid doesn't come as a surprise. Both have been out of the picture for much of the season, with Reid hardly featuring since making a costly mistake against Aberdeen in December. Kean's strikerate has been poor and he's scored just one goal all season.
The pair both came to Love Street during the 2004-05 season, with Reid arriving on a free and Kean signing from Ayr United in one of the rare deals in recent times that has seen us pay money for a player. In 2005 he was in fantastic form and scored the winning penalty against Morton in the League Challenge Cup semi-final. His partnership with John Sutton was excellent, but from 2006 onwards his form seemed to go downhill - especially in the scoring stakes. He's yet to score this year and scored just twice last year - one a vital penalty against Falkirk. Reid has been a solid player and has played in a variety of positions. There's no news of where he'll end up, while a number of clubs are chasing Keano. Good luck to the pair.
Brady and O'Donnell being offered deals is a bit of a surprise. Brady has been poor this season, while O'Donnell has spent most of the year injured.
