Ciani seems to be able to play on either wing and is up for grabs after leaving Belgian third division side KSK Ronse. He was with County in 2006, playing 14 games, before having a few games at Dundee. The 25-year-old Frenchman has featured in friendlies against Dunfermline and Partick Thistle in the last few days but no decision has yet been made.
Today's friendly win over Partick Thistle saw two goals scored by a trialist, but it seems that was not Ciani - meaning we have someone else on trial at the moment.
For the record, the other goals in the 4-2 win were scored by new signing Nick hegarty and Mark McLennan.
