Vanzy Linked With Move South

van Zanten has been linked with moves to Swansea City in the past, but nothing has ever come from them. His contract is up in the summer, and rumours have been circulating for some time that he has turned down a new deal. Saints boss Gus MacPherson is believed to have had a go at the former Celtic youngster following the 5-1 hammering at the hands of Falkirk - talking about players who thought they were better than the club - but since then he has been in good form and has captained the side in recent weeks.
