Woods had also been linked with Brechin last summer before signing for Saints. It now appears that the rumours about him leaving are totally untrue, as are ones linking Livingstin goalkeeper Alan Main with Brechin.

It seems that because Woods had an option in his contract, rather than an expirey date, that it only needs his word rather than a signature that he'll stay.
