Wreh For Brann?

Christopher Wreh signed for St. Mirren a month into the start of last season. We all thought the ex Arsenal and Monaco man would solve the strike problems, however we should have been suspicious from the fact former Saint Frank McAvennie was involved in the deal, as was former match fixer (allegedly) John Fashinu. Wreh never started a first team game for us and had various bust ups with Tom Hendrie. Hendrie said when he first arrived that Wreh would need games to get fit. Fair enough, but two months later he still wasn't fit according to Hendrie. However during that time Ian Ross started playing reguarly despite just being back from injury! When Wreh came on against Falkirk he didn't look unfit to me yet still wasn't really in Hendrie's plans. He made a few more Saints appearances before Hendrie tried to flog him to Darlington. He missed his train so ended up staying at Saints, however picked up an injury and didn't play again. He now joins the ever growing list of Hendrie's foreign duds, which includes Jens Paeslack and Maikel Renfurm. Now it seems Brann Bergen want him. He was so sparingly used I forgot to list him on Mirren Mad's rundown of where former Saints are now.

If Wreh signed for Brann he could join up with former Aberdeen player Robbie Winters, who is also a Partick Thistle target. I reckon it could be one or the other for Brann, and on the basis of last season I'd go for Winters.
