The 19 year old is highly rated by Plymouth and if he does well in the bounce game could find himself on loan at Love Street for the season. Plymouth are hoping to get him some first team experience, and no doubt see the Scottish first division has providing the perfect place for him to get some.
Plymouth boss Bobby Williamson said: "Stewart has gone up to St Mirren. I know Gus from my time as a player and manager at Kilmarnock. Stewart is due to play in a game on Tuesday and then we'll take it from there. We are looking to fix up a loan move for him so he gets first-team football."
Following some research, it seems that Yetton spent some time on loan at Steve Clardige's Weymouth last season, and also ended up top scorer in Plymouth's reserve team. Sounds good.
We do need another striker, so this could be a good move for us. I haven't heard of him, but then I'd never heard of Adam Proudlock or Robbie Earnshaw before they were on loan at first division clubs, and they played pretty well. The same season, Saints had Stephen McPhee on loan from Coventry and he was superb.
Hopefully, if Yetton impresses tomorrow night he will be able to do a similar job for Saints.
