The last time we left the country was in 2001 for friendlies against Grimsby and Lincoln City, which weren't too successful - and led to a similarly bad season. Tonight's game is followed up by another friendly on Saturday against Dungannon Swifts.
It is likely to be a completely different side tonight to the one that faced Stirling on Tuesday, although Israeli trialist Roi Dayan is expected to be given another chance to win a contract after impressing - and there could be other trialists too (although don't hold your breath). Craig Dargo and Will Haining could make their first appearances for Saints after sitting out Tuesday's game.
