A large part of Scotland has suffered from snow today, including Edinburgh. Not only will this cause problems for the pitch, but it will also make travelling extremely difficult. Those Saints fans who do risk the elements to go will get in for free after the late call off of this match a few weeks ago. Nice one County.
After the good performance against Hibs on Saturday, more of the same is needed tonight. Mixu Paatelainen is still out injured, and there are a few unidentified players who are carrying knocks and are touch and go. Apart from that everyone else is fit, so we may well see the same team which started against Hibs in the cup at the weekend.
Ross County go into this match having had a weekend off, so will be a lot fresher. Former Saint Stuart Taylor might make his home debut, despite signing for County in the summer, whilst fellow ex Saint Steven McGarry will be hoping for a goal.
A win tonight would increase the gap between Saints and the relegation zone and put County in trouble. Here's hoping.
