Ricky Gillies found out earlier in the week that he was getting released in the summer, so if he plays tomorrow it will be his last game at Love Street for Saints, and possibly the last time he plays for Saints full stop. Hopefully he'll get a start as it would be good to give him a standing ovation as he leaves the field. laurie Ellis, Stevie Woods and John O'Neill will also be in the pool for the last time at home, though whether any of them will play is unknown. It is unlikely Allan Russell will get much of a reception if he plays considering he looks likely to leave after rejecting a contract offer.
Hopefully Craig Hinchcliffe will have recovered from the injury he picked up against Falkirk last week to continue his record of starting every game this season, something only matched by Andy Millen (not bad considering he's nearly 40!) and Kirk Broadfoot. Mixu Paatelainen is definitely out with injury, whilst Brian McGinty is doubtful. Hugh Murray returns from suspension, but after last week's result it would be a surprise if he slots straight back into the team.
The Under 19 side lost out to Celtic in the Youth Cup Final on Wednesday but there's the chance some of them will be involved tomorrow. Four of them, including first team regular Ryan McCay, all signed new deals today so there's a chance the likes of David McKenna and Craig Molloy will play.
In a few other previews I've done for this game I've said Ross County have been boosted by Alex Smith signing a new deal. That's wrong, but I can't exactly say they have been hindered or it helps other teams, can I? Most County fans want him out, so for their board to give him a one year rolling contract is a bit odd!
It would be nice to round off our home season with a win, but with us breaking our Falkirk jinx last week I reckon County will break their Love Street one and win 2-0.
