It's never nice having to make the journey back south from somewhere like Pittodrie or Inverness after losing - and it's even worse when you've been comfortably beaten.
The Dons were two up at half-time and despite the young Buddies' best efforts to get back into things - Frankie Owens seeing a penalty save - they conceded a third.
Ironically, the one time the under-19s don't have a game on a Saturday is the occasion when the first team probably doesn't need them making up the numbers on the bench.
