It looked as if they would hang on for a shock victory, but with 15 minutes left Archie Campbell equalised for the home side.

A draw is still a fine result for the youngsters and they can be more than happy with their efforts at Murray Park.

The result means Saints finish the year in seventh in the table - although most of the teams below have games in hand.
