The young Saints haven't had the best of times this season and are at the bottom end of the league, partly because a few of their players are now in the first team squad. A few were back yesterday, specifically Thomas Reilly and Christopher Dilo.
The decisive moment arrived just before half-time, defender Declan Hughes heading in the winner. The result means Saints are through to the last four for the third year running, where they will have the joy of facing Rangers.
