England had won their two previous matches against Wales and Northern Ireland, while Scotland had beaten the Welsh and drew with the Irish. With this being the final round of fixtures, anything other than a defeat would have given England the trophy for an eighth successive year. Sadly, they did just that, with an early goal in each half giving them the win.
Ketterer played the full game in defence while Ramsay started up front before being subbed just before the break, perhaps because of injury.
The trio have been included in the squads for all three Victory Shield matches and should be proud of their contribution over the past few weeks.
