The game in question was against Brechin in the Scottish Cup when we won 3-1 on a Tuesday night - we also had a penalty that night and Brechin had a goal disallowed. Sadly, these are the only goals we've scored from the five games in which he has been involved in. He took charge of a goalless draw at Hibs earlier this season and a 2-0 defeat at Easter Road last season. He's also seen action in goalless draws with Gretna (2007/08) and Dunfermline (2006/07). And that's your lot as far as we're concerned, with Soccerbase claiming the Pars game was Mr Finnie's first ever league game, even though it was in the SPL!
He's taken charge of even less Hamilton games - three to be precise - and they've all ended in home wins for the Accies. Earlier this season they beat Aberdeen 2-0 and scored a penalty, although Richard Offiong was sent off late on. Last season they hammered Dunfermline 6-0 with Mr Finnie in charge and the season before they beat Partick Thistle 2-1.
Things don't look good on that score, but there doesn't seem to be anything too controversial from Mr Finnie's games involving either ourselves or Hamilton. More worring is the fact he's shown seven red cards in just 24 games this season - and it's almost time for him to show another one...
