Admittedly, a big goal tally is unlikely at Tynecastle but it's a good omen. The three came the last time we had this official when we drew 3-3 with Motherwell at home in October and he incorrectly gave them a penalty - the foul was dubious and was probably outside the box. The six came on the opening day of the season in a mad 6-3 win over East Stirling, while the seven came in Mr O'Reilly's first Saints game last season when we beat Dumbarton at Love Street in the League Cup.
Mr O'Reilly's other two Saints games have seen a win and a defeat. The victory came at Rugby Park in December 2008 when we beat Kilmarnock 1-0, with the defeat coming a month or so later at Tannadice. We lost 3-2, despite leading twice, and both sides were awarded a penalty.
Mr O'Reilly has already taken charge of a Saints win at Tynecastle this season, although sadly it was St. Johnstone who won with a late goal. hearts also had Jose Goncalves sent off - the only time Mr O'Reilly has shown a red card all season. Bizarrely, it's also his only Hearts game to date.
Soccerbase shows Mr O'Reilly showed just three red cards last season, so he seems to be quite lenient - although I won't complain if he keeps up Hearts' fine tradition of having players sent off on a regular basis!
