Mr Collum took charge of our recent game against Aberdeen - our last win to date - and this season has been pretty lenient in the other games where he was referee. These were a draw with Hibs and a 3-0 cup win over Motherwell. I think I've gone over his record with us more than enough times recently, so for more details check out the article for the Motherwell cup game: http://www.stmirren-mad.co.uk/roll/ed16/know_the_ref__motherwell_home_part_two_469675/index.shtml
The draw with us is the only Hibs game Mr Collum has done so far this season and he only did one during the whole of last season as well, a 3-2 win over Falkirk at Easter Road in which Michael Higdon scored twice for the Bairns. He did the grand total of three Hibs games in 2007/08: a draw at Falkirk, where he sent off two home players and Hibs' Clayton Donaldson; a draw with Dundee United (another red card, this time for United) and a home win over Motherwell(Ian Murray sent off). I'd previously been of the opinion he was a relatively lenient official but this suggests otherwise!
Mr Collum has only taken charge of two other Hibs games so far - a heavy defeat at Inverness Caley Thistle in 2006/07 and a cup hammering of Arbroath the previous season. Nothing noteworthy in either game.
This official has shown three red cards in his last four games. If he's to keep that run going, history suggests are it'll be someone in green and white getting themselves sent off on Saturday!
