Twice last season - against Kilmarnock and Celtic - Dargo was racing towards goal only to be flattened by the opposition keeper. Although Mr Collum did penalise the other team, he only booked the goalie for his shocking challenge. For the record, we lost to Celtic and drew with Kilmarnock. Mind you, he did oversee us beat Rangers! Although we lost to Aberdeen and Inverness Caley Thistle.
Mr Collum has already taken one of our games this season - the 3-0 cup win over Motherwell. As that was only a few weeks ago I won't bother rehashing what I wrote then, you can see it by clicking here.
This official only did one game with Hibs last season, a thrilling 3-2 win over Falkirk. He also did an eventful draw between the Hibees and the Bairns the previous season, sending off three players (two of them Falkirk ones) and awarding a penalty as the game finished 1-1. He also sent off a Dundee United player in a 2-2 draw at Easter Road the same season and a Hibs player in a 1-0 win over Motherwell.
There are only two other games involving Hibs and Mr Collum are a 3-0 defeat to Inverness Caley Thistle in 2006/07 and a comfortable cup win over Arbroath the previous season.
In 10 games this season, Mr Collum has only shown one red card - so maybe if Dargo once again finds himself poleaxed by a keeper he'll have to make do with his assailant only being booked once more.
