As expected, the seven subs from Monday - plus youngster Peter Bradley - all started, with Paul McQuade, Steven Robb and Jure Travner the only men to start both games. Trialist Stephen Glass also made his first start.
Details are sketchy so this will be brief. It was, by all accounts, not a great performance and that, combined with the result, should get people panicking again even though it was a meaningless game. Apparently, both Brechin's goals came down our left hand side but, weirdly, it was left sided Saints Steven Robb and Ally Love who got the two equalisers. Hmmm.
Still three weeks to the new season, while Brechin start theirs on Saturday. Nothing to worry about - yet!
