Four times we've played Clyde this season and four times we've drawn 0-0. The last few games Saints have definitely tried to win and have failed, whilst Clyde have sat with so many men behind the ball you have to wonder how Celtic managed to get one past them, let alone five.
Clyde are currently second in the first division, god knows how. If you're a Clyde fan, do you enjoy the sort of football that San Marino usually display?
Saints had a few shots which were saved/hit the post/wide. Apparently Clyde did too. Fantastic.
One point of interest was that Saints had a trialist playing at right wing back, who it has been revealed was former Hibs player Alan Reid. Reid has been training with Saints for months and played due to injuries and Saints boss Gus MacPherson wants to sign him permanently if he gets the chance.
Thing is, even if we had injury problems, why couldn't Mark Crilly or Ricky Gillies have played over a trialist? Are the duop heading for a summer departure?
At least it would give them a reason not to have to watch Clyde playing Saints next season.
