The striker hadn't scored in any of our friendlies before our trip to the Emerald Isle but scored in all three Ireland games, bettering the form he managed on our last trip across the water in 2007 when he scored twice. If he can keep that form up during the season it would be a real bonus.
After losing to Crusaders last night, we fielded a much stronger side, one that may be close to the team that starts against Dundee United a week on Saturday. Dargo struck after just after eight minutes but Derry - who are nearer the end of their season than the start - equalised in the second half to complete the scoring.
And so the friendlies come to an end. It's been a pretty mixed bag, but we've only lost once - not too bad considering we've basically signed a team and need to get them to gel.
