Dumbarton 0-3 Saints

There was no place in the starting lineup for Israeli trialist Roy Dayan, but there was one for a defensive trialist. The starting 11 was: Howard, Reid, Barron, Potter, Trialist, Brittain, Brady, O'Donnell, Burke, Corcoran, Kean.

Considering we only had one of the summer signings - Howard - playing and a hardly lethal front three, that's good going. What is perhaps worrying is that we're usually rubbish in pre-season and we've had a good series of friendlies!
