It's not over, not by a long shot. Two years ago, Dundee were eight points ahead of bottom side Livingston and were relegated. However, the result is a step towards safety, and it's becoming increasingly difficult for Dunfermline to claw back the gap.
Saints went to Fife for a point and got it. A 4-5-1 formation seems to be doing the job away from home - we're struggling to score goals so we might as well concentrate on keeping them out. Smith made some cracking saves, while Saints rarely had a chance.
It's now three weeks until our next game. By then the gap could be nine points with seven games left. Which would be nice.
