Before the season started, I reckoned I'd be happy if we sneaked a few points from the Old Firm and the two Edinburgh clubs. At present, we've taken nine points from those four sides and still have to play Hibs and Rangers at Love Street.
With the recent lack of shots on goals, let alone goals themselves, it was pleasing to see O'Donnell break his Saints duck so quickly after signing. Hopefully, this will be the first of many from the former Clyde midfielder who has scored a fair few goals over the last couple of years.
The goal came early on, and Saints held out until the 70th minute when some chap called Kingston curled a free kick past Chris Smith. Fortunately, that was the end of the scoring and a much needed point was earned.
Sadly, Dunfermline ended their goal drought and also got a point, but the gaps still eight and we've stopped the rot.
