We are in free fall. We would have stayed up if we beat Hamilton - and didn't. We'd have been as good as safe if we won today - and we lost. Making things even worse is the fact Hamilton won. As bad a day as it could have been.
This will be incredibly short as I wasn't there. With Hugh Murray injured and Jure Travner suspended, it was no surprise to see David Barron and Kenny McLean start. What was a susprise was the inclusion of Marc McAusland, with David van Zanten nowhere to be soon. Presumably, he is injured too.
As I said this will be short. From what I've heard and read quickly, Adam Rooney could have had as many as he wanted after hitting the woodwork on numerous occasions. He then did get one with five minutes left - despite Caley Thistle being down to 10 men as Grant Munro had been sent off. There was no response from Saints - not that there had been one in the prceeding 85 minutes.
We need one win to stay up and are looking less and less likely to get it. We go to Pittodrie on Tuesday - so it'll almost certainly be all square for the last day of the season.
Squeaky bum time indeed.
