Of course, that would have meant nothing if Kilmarnock had scored with one shot (ask France about that). However, considering one major complaint was that we weren't creating anything, this is encouraging. Now we just need to start putting the ball in the goal, rather than towards it.
Chris Birchall made his first start while, even more surprisingly, Stephen O'Donnell also started, despite not having featured for weeks. Saints went with a 4-5-1 formation, with Billy Mehmet the one. The aim was obviously to draw, and we did so, which is fine by me.
Unfortunately, Gretna and Caley Thistle picked up their first wins of the season, but let's not moan too much. All we need now is a few goals.
