I've no idea what the penalty was for, however if there was one man you'd put money on scoring at the moment it would be John Sutton. Sadly, Motherwell goalkeeper Colin Meldrum managed to save it and Saints had to settle for a point.
Whilst it's not a disaster, it's hard to see where our next win is coming from with our next four games being Celtic at Love Street, Aberdeen and Dundee United away and then Hearts in Paisley. Fortunately, Dunfermline lost again and United play Rangers tomorrow, so we may well sneak another point away from bottom spot.
In other news, Brian McGinty scored a goal. No, really! The on loan Saints striker scored for Dundee - his first goal for two years - but they still lost to Gretna.
