I don't know whats more surprising. We won, Ricky Gillies found the target with a free kick, or the fact one of our strikers scored a goal.
Wasn't there so can't comment much but from what I've heard we fully deserved the three points. Ricky Gillies scored a Ronaldinhio-esque free kick past former Saints goalie Kris Robertson, whilst Allan Russell managed his first goal, and indeed a goal by any Saints striker, since August, when he made it 2-0 in the second half.
Saints being Saints it wasn't as easy as that though. Mark Dempsie gave away a penalty which was converted, but they managed to hold on for a great victory over title chasing Queens. To help Saints out, some opposition bloke with an Italian name was sent off in the last minute.
Roll on Ayr on Saturday :-)
