Unfortunately thats where the drawing stops and the text has to start. Something went wrong between doing that on my PC in my flat and doing it at home, which has made it harder to move players about etc. It'll hopefully be sorted so the urine can be extracted from Paul Hartley in our next home report. For this game I'll resort to a traditional text report, which won't be that big.

Early on, Ayr had the better of the action however Nicolson tried doing his best to help us by giving away the ball in the box. Around the half hour mark, Kris Robertson did his best impression of David James by flapping at a cross, but that was nothing compared to the Scrimgour-esque antics of Ayr's goalkeeper before half time.

After Kirk Broadfoot tried hammering it clear, and missed, the ball fortunately found it's way to Junior Mendes. Despite being quite far out, he had a dig, and the Ayr goalie helpfully palmed it in for the only goal of the game. Nice!

Ayr deserved a point from the game, however failed to take it. Saints were lucky not to have Cameron sent off in the second half, before right at the death he missed a chance in a move which is spookily similar to the example I drew at the top!

Fortunately Saints held on for a win. Apologies for the poor match report, will try and sort it for the next home game!
