A full report will be up later, but this will do for now.
St. Mirren were awful. From the moment a duffed kick out from Chris Smith almost resulted in a goal after 60 seconds we knew we were in trouble.
All three St. Johnstone goals were well taken, but were a result of shocking defending. Rocco Quinn was unmarked to brilliantly place a shot past Smith. Then Andy Millen - who should never be seen in a St. Mirren shirt again after another terrible performance - effectively dummied a pass that allowed Andy jackson to finish well. Then, Peter MacDonald skinned Millen and someone else - despite having lost control of the ball three times - to curl a shot past Smith. All within half an hour!
Paul Sheerin missed a second half penalty while Mehmet converted one at the other end, but it made sod all difference.
