Another midweek game, another win. We seem to be doing well in midweek games this season, and Stewart Kean also seems to enjoy them. Not content with scoring the winning penalty against Morton a few weeks ago, he scored with virtually the last kick of the ball against Stranraer last night.
David van Zanten had put Saints ahead midway through the first half with his first goal of the season, but Leigh Hinds levelled things up in the second. Saints apparently dominated and found Stranraer goalkeeper Barry John Corr in good form, although Chris Smith had to look sharp at the other end on occasion.
It seems that Stranraer were timewasting a bit so I've no sympathy with them over losing a last minute goal. St. Johnstone thrashed Hamilton to move into second, two points behind us.
