Name: Dennis Wyness
Current Club: Elgin City
Position: Forward
Saints Career: Dennis was signed in the summer of 2008 from Inverness Caley Thistle, in the hope he would resurrect the good strike partnership he formed their with Craig Dargo. However, he struggled at Saints and it took until December for him to score his first goal. He did become the first Saints player to score at the new St. Mirren Park, and his consolation goal against Kilmarnock did help our goal difference, but it was a poor season. He didn't feature at all the following term, although he did score twice during a loan spell with Queen of the South.
Post Saints Career: Dennis was told in January 2010 he was free to leave and was released a few days later. He was out of work for a few weeks before being signed by Dumbarton. He left them in the summer and ended up back north with Peterhead. He managed nine goals in two years - and just one in his final season - before being let go in 2012, Elgin moving quickly to snap him up.
