Saints Career: An injury to Darren McGregor in August 2011 saw former Telstar and AZ Alkmaar man Ilias brought in on a short term contract. He looked solid and composed at times, although always seemed one monet away from doing something silly and rash. Played a few games in defence then was dropped before appearing in midfield for a few games and being dropped again. Danny Lennon was keen to extend the former Dutch youth international's contract but withdrew it in December 2011.
Post Saints Career: After that Ilias left the club and is currently looking for a new side, although had been linked with a move to Dunfermline.
